| network rail have taken it on themselves in all their wisdom to close both lines to Bridgend on Saturday from 4.30 through till Sunday night. With all the away fans coming from St. Helens it must be one of the most ridiculous decisions they have made for some time. Well cone Network rail. Big game and no transport between Bridgend and Cardiff.

| Although it is frustrating to find the trains diverted, Network Rail plan these engineering works upto a year in advance. They are not doing this deliberately just trying to keep the Network running and the cost of postponing them is astronomical.
