The Bulls are showing a lot of spirit in the face of adversity, while Wakey seem to have found their best form for a while. We're 1 from the last 6.
A win at Odsal and I think we've one foot in the play-offs, defeat and we've still a chance (Bradford's run-in is tough and you'd imagine the emotional rollercoaster will take a toll eventually) but no margin for error. Plus we'd only get in due the points deduction. Eddie and Phil will be cheering them on enthusiastically no doubt, which'll make it sweeter/more bitter for we armchair fans. I know they need a narrative to draw in the floating viewer but they ride it hellish hard sometimes.
Wakefield at home looked almost a gimme a few weeks a go, but our recent (lack of) form means it will both important and more than half-daunting.

The season is already defined - write off.

Play the kids, focus on performance over results and prepare for 2013.

Give 8th to Bradford - they deserve it, we don't.

Be a bit downbeat to end the season in such poor form, but.

Always seems that we think it is kids [ior[/i results, whereas Wigan, Saints and Leeds seem to be able to do both. Dunno if that says more about our senior players or our kids, tbh.

Bradford have spent big on players wages whilst failing to pay the taxman and their suppliers. Several small businesses trusted the Bulls and have been badly let down.

Amazingly whilst on the brink of financial ruin the Bulls were still competing for the signature of Gareth Ellis. Even after the ruinous signings of Harris and Orford.

Then they had the innovative idea of virtually giving away season passes so as to keep attendances up. Then they voted for the 'no money' Stobart deal.

Their bank told them they'd had enough and withdrew their overdraft. No longer able to borrow yet more money the Bulls couldn't even pay the next months salaries. That's because they'd assembled a team they couldn't afford with money essentially stolen from the taxman and their suppliers.

So out comes the begging bowl and fans are asked to raise half a million. They do - then it disappears into a black hole.

The management of Bradford Bulls has gradually shifted from being incompetent to irresponsible to reprehensible. They have truly brought the game of Rugby League into disrepute.

Amazing. But here's the really amazing bit. After all that some people still think Bradford deserve to remain in Super League. And here's the really really amazing bit. They think Bradford deserve to be in the top 8 with a team paid for with money stolen from the taxman and suppliers!

I wish I could be there, I will have to watch on TV, I dont think the season is a write off apart from a couple of disasters (the last derby for one) we have been there or there about in most of our games (including yesterday), We may even get some referee's decisions go our way. We are around mid table which is about right we wont win the competition but may ruffle a few feathers in the run in.

Totally agree with u bob if that was us this wudnt be happening we'd be kicked out in an instant

I also agree, Its not thier fans fault but I have no sympathy with the club what other clubs would be saved? not us Wakey or Cas thats for sure.

Your right it's not the fans fault but as fans we have to take the rough with the smooth dont we I think wel beat the bulls on Friday

Play offs are a joke anyway unless you actually have a chance of winning the comp.

Doesn't finishing in the top eight still tick a box in the license applications though? assuming we're still having them of course.

Also you get a extra bit of money finishing in the playoffs so I would welcome finishing 8th. Also looking forward to going to the Bradford game, we usually do okay there but i know it is going to be very tough
