I must hold my hand up and say I have never been a fan but totally agree that the performance yesterday suggested the player for the first time seemed happy with playing a more traditional role around dummy half.
I haven't bought in to the part-time hooker/part-time back rower thing. If that 'crazy legs crane' stuff can be contained, and what we saw yesterday becomes the norm, he has what it takes to become first choice, IF HE WANTS TO. |
