God knows why they kept kicking to that side, never saw him make a mistake either, adds more power, options, and strength to an already formidable pack

If we can keep our forwards fresh this year (unlike last year) then I think we will be in a really good position to make the GF. We currently have the best pack in the league and it will only get better when everyone is fit.

Prescott and Lima are playing out of their skin, Mossop should kick on as well. Adding Fielden to that if he gets fit along with Dudson is very formidable. He was outstanding when he came on against saints. Perfect stats for a bench prop. Can't wait to see him mature.

A huge bloke and a scary sight running at full tilt! He has all the natural attributes a prop needs to become very good and now it's just up to him to keep putting in the hard yards to keep improving.

Another lad I was hugely impressed with was Dom Crosby. He's one heck of an athlete for a prop and he can now hopefully kick on after sadly missing the start of the year, a start that would have seen him with a few superleague appearances now if he'd been fit IMO.

Looking at the starting pack we have and the quality of depth as well I'd say it's gonna be a while before we need to sign anyone in the forwards.

Crosby was great but could do with maybe adding a bit of size to be prop or play in the backrow. His build suits second row

We're in a very good position with props, imo 3 are top class, international standard (Prescott, Mossop, Lima) with Lauaki, Flower, Dudson, Spencer and Crosby all coming in at some point and doing everything asked of them. We are not missing Fielden or Coley at all which is something I was a bit concerned about before the season started. Keep it going lads!

not convinced Prescott is playing out of his skin, still returning to form after injury but agree in general we have a wealth of forwards currently.

and to think, many of the RL experts on here didn't want him or Flower at the club seeing as they weren't Wigan Standard

I wouldn't say he needs to stop offloading as that's part of his game which can be devastating to other teams at times.

Yes of course I would like to see him use his bonce more when then offload is obviously not on and for him to stick hold.

Flower raised a few eyebrows. I dont remember any issues with Dudson's signing.

damn.....that's 8 players mentioned above without Fielden, 2 starting props and 3 on the bench.....there is certainly competition for places and the slighlest drop in form due to fatigue will mean they are out and then have to fight to get back in
