There are [iloads[/i of positives surrounding Leigh Centurions at the moment, but do we have a problem with indiscipline?

For me, we currently do have, which needs addressing asap. It's been creeping up on us for a few weeks now I feel.

And having just watched the reserves play at Dewsbury last night, indiscipline was evident again.

Having checked the disciplinary page on the RFL website, we do have the poorest disciplinary record in the Championship. Does not make good reading

Homer why don't you just say what you think you have heard and why you believe it ?

Really winds me up when Leigh are seen as a dirty team and everyone we play are Angels,particularly when Fax fans jump on the band wagon.
Our record is not good but how many straight reds have we had over the last couple of seasons,not many .
We get caught out responding to continuous niggling,slowing the game down,sly digs and this will always be the case when you play like we are doing at present and have some players who are known to respond.

I'm not defending our disciplinary record it needs to improve but so do others in the Championship and SL where a blind eye to lots of indiscipline is evident ever week.

I think some of backs in particular get more late hits than any other team and this again is something we have had to live with,but two wrongs don't make a right and we must learn to walk away from trouble.

Why, do you watch us play every week ? Obviously because we 'keep winning games' we feel the need to "rough it up "

Why not start a thread, say for example "We are not as good as we think we are"

Getting quite sick of the we know something you don't know from Fev and now fax fans , you know nowt !!!
We are better then everyone else and no one can praise us and say well done
We have to be cheating or dirty etc etc etc

"Trolls" will ALWAYS be around wherever the internet is in use. The internet is a lovely safe breeding ground for the cowards that they are. Nothing will change that.

But, there is no way I am not posting about certain things just to keep so-called trolls at a minimum. Sorry, Budgie.

The fact that you used the word "could" speaks volumes...

Discipline isn't a problem as such , I suspect its more frustration.
What the players need to do is hope that the officials (touch judges, ref etc) see the off the ball stuff that often causes our players to react and which has been on the increase for a while.

Its a huge compliment that certain opposition players and coaches feel the need to use the off the ball stuff to compete with us and whilst it must be frustrating for our players that it does sometimes seem to go unpunished we have to leave the ref /touch judges to control the game and not react, its harder but much better to smile or blow a kiss at the protagonists and realise that at some point the pendulum will turn and we will get the calls in a game rather than after a game.

I don't claim to have any inside knowledge, all I know is everytime I've seen Leigh play they've been dirtier than a curry house that has run out of toilet paper

there's no doubting you're one hell of a team but there is a reason why you're always in trouble
