personally i don't thinks he's qualified to coach in the north west counties league let alone Super league or the national team...and england are only going to go backwards under his reign...

Easy decision get rid NOW!

He never was and never will be good enough to coach the national team. He was given more than a fair chance at Bradford and could not cut it, and was a bizarre appointment for the national job.

Who should replace him would be more of a discussion.

It would be a total retrograde step for the game in this country not to be coached by by a brit.

Do the RFL and more importantly the CLUBS, especialy soooooooperdoooooooper clubs, openly admit they don't give a monkeys about player and coach development and [size=150=#8000FFonly want easy options.[/size

Personally i'd pick a coack who had been in charge of a SOO team, good knowledge tactically, can get a mixed set of players up for a game and motivate them into a team in a short space of time.

The sooner we stop letting the international game embarrass our sport the better.

Approach Nathan Brown to work part-time.

Brown part-time definitely. Although I think he's upset a few at the RFL recently. McNamara offers nothing and talks in embarrassing cliches and management speak. He's like a poor man's Cullen.

i'd go with someone like Brian noble as a fulltime 'director of rugby' role overseeing the day to day running and development of england & the knights and to work with part time england coach (nathan brown) & knights coach (ellery hanley)

Not a bad idea, but would depend on if noble is willing to give up sl coaching aspirations?

I suggested Brown but to be honest I'd rather have any if the current Super League coaches over McNamara. We have no set plays, can't run decent angles, run around like under 9s and even fleck up the basics like the defensive line. What exactly is McNamara doing?
