He did play centre and he looked decent. He threw a few passes to Penny that could have released the winger but the two were not in tune having probably had all of one training session together.
He looked low on confidence to me. Twice he threw passes to Penny without looking to see where he was first. As said earlier that timing will get better after each training session.
