Great work by the council to plan this on the day the biggest crowd will be travelling that exact route.

Great planning on behalf of both clubs for making us aware.

Judging by the roads being worked on, the works will have been planned months in advance and probably before the fixture list was announced.

Last Sunday was a nightmare. Normally takes us 2 minutes to get to Sainsburys from our house...on Sunday we gave up after 45 minutes of moving nowhere along Kirkgate. Going to be a big problem!!!

A very good point. It's easy to launch in to the criticism of the council and forget that the clubs have done a good job in communicating and hopefully reducing some of the congestion.
In fact it is nice to say we are doing something as professionally as Leeds. Like them or not they are a very well run business. Good to see we are aiming up in that department too.

An early arrival with some time spent in Cats bar may be the order of the day!

Just to clarify the Council contacted us a few weeks ago to keep us informed and we passed the info on to the Rhinos so all sets of fans are aware, it is fair to say the Council were sorry about the timing and did say it was unavoidable.

Advice is to allow extra time for the journey and plan as advised on the website, the good news is that the Cats Bar will be open from 12.

Alternative route from North Wakefield & Leeds:
M1 to Jcn39
1st exit onto Denby Dale Rd towards Wakefield
Straight across (2nd exit) at 1st roundabout
4th exit onto Asdale Rd at the second roundabout
Straight across (2nd exit) at the small roundabout opposite Asda
Left at the T-junction onto Barnsley Rd
Through 2 sets of traffic lights then right onto Agbrigg Rd
Under the railway bridge then, depending on where you want to park, either:
- left onto Sugar Lane
or
- straight on then left at T-junction onto Doncaster Rd which Passes the ground on your left.
