Alan I am surprised at you saying how good this board is at communicating can you tell me how many fans forums they have had ?
Correct me if I am wrong did you not praise the last board for how transparent they we're have you now changed your mind ?
Andy can you tell me as. A board member have you been appointed the clubs forum man
Linda you should play the Elton John song and listen what he has to say about the word sorry then let Andy no
Andy you keep reminding us how much money and time this board are putting in that's great but if you manage to put in as much time and effort as Trevor and his team did then Super League hear we come so as the going says Just Do It
And thanks to the new board keep up the good work
Not necessarily right now Frank, especially as the season has ended. I feel there is a place for them, from the view of personal communication with the supporters. I believe we have to utilise every possible means of communicating, and you can't beat the personal touch - provided it is done in a structured way.
[uAn update, from the Leigh Centurions Communication Team, on the subject of a Fans' Forum[/u
The club does intend holding a Fans' Forum before the end of 2013. Currently, the BOD has a number of urgent issues to address, such as the upcoming Sponsors Evening (to be held early next month) and of course the fluctuating debate on the structure of the Game.
That said, the BOD do wish to explain their ambitions and plans 'face to face' with the supporters, and listen to their views.
As an aside, the BOD also supports this Forum as a vital form of communication with supporters and has already taken on board a number of suggestions and words of caution, that have been posted on here.
Looks like some plans may have to go on hold until the structure of the game is sorted. Looks like that may not be sorted till after the world cup thanks to 7 self interested chairmen led by Lenaghan up the road.
