Quote Dita's Slot Meter="Dita's Slot Meter"Who's putting in the cash at HKR nowadays?.. have they had some new investment?'"
Had a full board takeover in the winter with a healthy contingent of no less than 6 board members (another to come later on in the year) with the existing chairman Neil Hudgell still on board putting money in. (In context his money alone kept us surviving at worst, competitive at best!)James Mcnicol is likely to be the money man behind these transfers I'd imagine
( https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/r ... ol-7919098). Some big ambitions labelled here such as wanting to watch one of the best in the land and putting money in to achieve this). All this with buying our own ground, having multiple revenue streams and some real money spinners in The Who/Rod Stewart concerts at Craven Park, off the pitch is certainly going well. The board have put it on record to do it smart though, rather than tossing money about. It's also been a well kept secret the resources we've got which is also smart..why put pressure on a new coach pre season talking the talk?
The potential is huge and you're right on the next page, it's great for the sport. I also like the statements from our board actively encouraging the sport as a whole to progress. They want competition as it would sharpen their own focus, there's no point doing all this in a poor sport they've said.

Dita's Slot Meter Velcro boots:I do not trust the process anymore, feeling very deflated about how the club operates. His signing is to cover James Harrison who's having shoulder surgery.

| Good player from what Ive seen so should be another improvement on the squad for the rest of the season ( and hopefully he performs well enough that we try to negotiate a release from the remainder of his contract with Paramatta )
So assume we are running now with a front row/rotation of Vaughan/Yates/Philbin + 1 other ( if we havent got Harrison and Sam isnt going to use an inexperienced player such as Max Wood ) then Id be playing Fitzgibbon off the bench as a repl front row forward ( or even both Wood and Fitz on the bench )
Back row of Matterson, Stone/Fitzgibbon and Currie
Now, could we start playing the flowing rugby that we saw last year ... PLEASE

| Sam Burgess: "Max Wood has been a brilliant find for the front row and really brings strength to our pack. Luke Thomas is great and is only going to get better."
Interviewer: "Great, are they playing then?"
Burgess: "Lol no. Stef can fill in if needed."
