The Premier Inn on the Albert Dock in Liverpool is really good (more upmarket than the normal ones) reasonabley priced aswell. Or you could try the most over rated, over priced hotel in Merseyside, the Park Inn St.Helens. Whilst enjoying your Sunday morning breakfast you have the beautiful view of the car boot sale and th`otties, what more could you ask for.

Mate, have you ever seen Withernsea?:shock: It has a lighthouse half a mile inland. Anywhere would be a good night out compared to there. Makes Towyn look like Monaco

To be fair, I think most are doing St Helens down here, it's not that bad a night out, but it probably won't be the best you've ever had.

Liverpool is far better, but you'd expect that of a city compared to a town.
