Trebor1: Morning chaps. What a win that was. I sank a few beers after watching that... couldn't sleep after icon_smile.gif credit to Sheff U, they came out hard and rattled us a bit but goodness me what a response, especially given no Manager on the sidelines and losing our capt in the run up to the game... that made it even more special. They're a very good team these boys of ours... incredible belief, workrate, mentality and ability. Sheff U couldn't maintain they're start, weren't good enough to do so. Our subs were superb, there's not so, Bogle and James ran Hamer ragged when he came on.
Oh and i'd offer Firpo a new deal if we haven't already, not saying he's brilliant at PL level (if we get there, not counting chickens yet etc) but he's more than useful in the squad. He looks a much better player under Farke. Thought he deserved the MOM.
One fly in ointment is Ampadu injury, Farke says may need an Op. Need to pray no other CB's get injured... not going in for one in Jan now looks very risky given Wober's injury record.
Hamer was very lucky to stay on the pitch, should have received a second yellow.
bielsa never had a plan B either but he was considered a genius. I also agree a little bit of a shake up is needed. but I'm not sure he drops aaronsson

I agree, even more so because of last nights results which were very good and the fact Sheff U and Burnley will take at least 2 points off each other either way with only 2 left to play after their game... if we win our 5 home games we're on 91 points - plus anything we pick up away..
Sheffield derby this weekend at Hillsborough and Weds will be cockahoop after coming back from 2 down to win 3-2 last night away.. Burnley have Bristol C and Cov to play just after international break too which are tricky games, Bristol C were all over Sheff U last night.. But, we need to do our job now.... no messing. I expect a big reaction these next two games. Saturday away at QPR at lunch time gives me chills.. but we need to get our heads right and the bit between our teeth and crack on.
So the only change is Rothwell for Gruev. Come on Danny Boy Aaronson does not deserve his place in the eleven and we need to freshen up our attack. Surely us fans know best!
